Chareidio is a global text and audio based news service delivering global and Jewish news without sensationalism, rhetoric or gossip. Primarily, we report material events that have already happened, doing our best to avoid repetition. Our stories are prepared by hand in accordance with our guidelines and religious axioms. Chareidio also offers several other services, including audio sound presentations, a daily audio news recap, and various other programs accessible at our site.
Chareidio strives to provide objective reporting of events that have already transpired. We do not debate matters of faith, nor do we allow incitement, racism or unacceptable language. News material and audio clips from our sound files are drawn from a wide range of places, including secular sources. Discourse in our TalkBack community are substantive and open. Chareidio is guided by the dictates of Halacha (Jewish Law), and is under the guidance of leading Rabbanim, in particular, HaRav Yitzchak Schwartz, shlita, Rosh HaYeshiva of Yeshiva Orchos Chaim in Jerusalem. Rav Schwartz is a close student of HaGaon HaRav Chaim Pinchas Scheinberg, shilta, Rosh Yeshiva Torah Ore.
Yes. Chareidio provides a venue for limited banner display and other promotional activities when clearly marked. We are highly selective in the 3rd-party vendors we choose to represent, and strive to make our commercial space as much a part of the 'Chareidio experience' as our main content is.
Regarding Chareidio content, proper permissions are sought when appropriate, though most of our material is original and prepared by hand. Chareidio material may not be reproduced elsewhere, whether in print or on the internet, without specific written permission.
Our content is carefully screened and reported sensitively, but is not geared specifically for young children.
